Similar to No Frills, Canadian Tire stores span the range from bad to good and this store is certainly on the lower end of the scale.
I think the thing I dislike the most about this store is that it is crowded--they have really packed the horizontal aisle with the "door crasher" kinds of items. But on a crowded day, shopping is kind of unpleasant, especially if you have a basket.
The only reason I have shopped here often is because it is very close--I can walk.
Getting propane took forever and a day. I now just go to a local Esso even if it costs more.
They would not take back a vacuum cleaner that was used once--this may or may not be my fault. My argument was that I could not have known that its cord was too short until I actually used it. At any rate, they were totally unwilling to work with me on finding a solution. I would have been very happy with a store credit.
Things are often out of stock here or just poorly arranged. It can be a guessing game in figuring out what the price of something is.
At least they have easy parking and a fairly easy in-and-out location.
If you can shop at another CT, you'd probably be better off doing so. But if you need something that you can't get elsewhere, and this store is nearby, then go for it and good luck.
