  • VERY DISAPPOINTED! We arrived to Westgate Flamingo Bay Resort yesterday with plans of taking the kids to the pool today (our next day). The kids were looking forward to fun in the sun, especially in this hot weather. Unfortunately someone used the pool as a restroom, and now it was shut down until 8 pm. We asked if there were any possibility of being accommodated, and even suggested to be allowed to their other property to use the amenities that we PAID for here, but we were denied and only received an apology for the inconvenience. So we had to improvise as you can see in the photo, and the kids were not too thrilled. This was just another thing on top of other issues. TV remote didn't work, gates to the room had problems reading the room key, and non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes. Three more days to go! Let's see what other blunders there will be. SMH with disappointment. Get it together Flamingo or else you won't be standing on any legs. Please view photo posted.
