Had a terrible experience at bright futures pediatrics on warm springs. Had a consultation for a circumcision for my 3 week old son, they booked my first appointment on day 30, and his procedure on day 31. Conveniently, my insurance only covered him for his first 30 days of life. Then when insurance explained a form could be signed since he was only 1 day late, due to their scheduling, they refused and referred me to another place unless I paid $385. I understand it's a buisness, but how is it ok to do procedure on the 22nd, but the 23rd they do not feel safe doing it? He weighs the exact same? There is no added risk in 8 hours. They have no concern for their patients unless they would put themselves in the parent's shoes. The lady at the front desk had a smug, very insensitive approach to customer service also. Let's think about the kids here, and putting them through the least amount of discomfort, not making a profit.
