After trying to get reservations here for a few weeks, we finally visited Cure on a Wednesday night. The service was FANTASTIC. The cocktails were small but delicious. Their bread and butter appetizer with olives baked in was soooo good. We had the small salume--surprisingly, it was not the cured meats that tasted salty at all, but rather the sauces and pickled vegetables they paired with it.
The coolest part of Cure is the setting. You can see right into the kitchen, and it has a rather homey feel to it (despite the large taxidermied boar heads above). It is small and intimate, and perfect for an anniversary dinner.
The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because of our entrees. We both ordered pasta dishes--what I got was a dish of pulled lamb with a few small balls of pasta. I also have a very low salt tolerance, and found much of the food to be very salty.
