  • Updating my review because I recently switched to a military treatment facility, but I want to add that my children were under great care here. My son is special needs and requires a lot of referrals, I want to thank Tammy for coordinating with our insurance provider (Tricare) to ensure referrals go through. Initially I was upset, mainly at the lack of communication, however, the process for a simple referral requires much more. Because of my son's demands and the insurance provider we have, it was best we stay with a military treatment facility as they are familiar with the process. This has nothing to deal with our service at Agave-North so I want to make that clear. The doctors addressed all concerns, did not make me feel like I was crazy, and never once disregarded my instincts as a parent nor the requests I made. We have seen 3 different providers there and all have been great to us. The equipment is very up to date, because of this I found out my son had Astigmatism. Referred to an ophthalmologist who confirmed the test results with Agaves eye equipment (no idea what it is called). If I had local insurance and no military affiliation, I would've kept my kids here. For those who gave bad reviews or if you're a future patient considering Agave, remember that you're the patient! The doctors are there to serve you! This is something most parents forget. So instead of offering bad reviews, it is ultimately your right to demand more or advocate properly for your child. The only way you will not get your way is if it jeopardizes their place as a doctor. They're educated and believe it or not, sometimes they learn from us, so speak up! Help them diagnose and care for your child. Tell them what works best so they can offer other alternatives. You're the parent, you know your child best, and they know this! They respect that! Choose Agave :) Ps. My son loved the layout of the clinic. It was amazing.
