Having never heard of this store before, I was a little skeptical about placing an online order with this store for shipping to Calgary.
My order was for a stand mixer that was out of stock Canada wide except at this store. Before placing the order I had some questions about the product/model so I called customer service line to ask some questions. Leanne from customer service helped answer all my questions and was very knowledgable about the particular mixer I was asking about. After I got off the phone with customer service I went ahead and placed my order online. An hour later customer service left me a voicemail asking me to call in to verify my identity and credit card information prior to order shipment. So I called back and Leanne answered again and mentioned that this is their standard policy for relatively large purchases like the one I was making and it is for my protection, again much appreciated and personable customer service. Leanne promised to personally follow up on my order to make sure it gets shipped out promptly.
The order got shipped out before the end of the day. It shipped via Canada post and arrived in approx. 1.5 weeks.
Received the product and found everything in the package as promised. The box was in pretty good condition and didn't appear to have been mishandled or abused at the warehouse or during shipping. The unit was brand new and looked better than the same unit that I bought and returned to Sears because it appeared to have been opened. They even left a thank you note in the box which again was very personable and nice to see.
Overall my experience with this store and customer service has been very pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to place another online order with this store in the future.
