  • Unfortunately I have to disagree with most of the reviews here. My wife and I stopped by last night about 9:15. We both ordered a brisket sandwich and asked for it as lean as possible. I've had brisket at many bbq restaurants and several around Charlotte. This sandwich was the worst we ever had. It didn't have a ton of fat on it but it looked and tasted like it was sitting in grease. The bread was soaked in fat from the meat. We couldn't stop talking about how bad this sandwich was. We have been a big fan of Midwood Smokehouse and will not be straying away again. Service was very fair took forever to get the Bill. Won't be back!!!!
