| - Though this second floor gym isn't very large, I'm satisfied with their selection of cardio equipment, cross-fit machines, and free weights. If you're into it, the treadmills have TV screens and there is a room for Zumba classes and the like. And as added bonus, there is lots of natural light in this gym. A nice change from the other gyms I have frequented.
The amenities at a gym are pretty important to me, since at most I am able to extract 10% of the value of gym equipment. The change rooms here are sadly less than satisfactory. It's got less square footage than a bouncy castle and only three showers. It's about half the size of the change rooms at McCaul which is mighty small indeed. But hey, that's gymming in the city. Not a bad option for Little Italians, i.e., people living in Little Italy, not diminutive people of Italian descent.
Obligatory Title Pun: The GYM'S no JEWEL.[1]
Menu Readability: Someone has really nice handwriting on the suggestions board.
Need to mention: They offer spin classes here!
What this place teaches me about myself: Gym rat? I'm more of a gym mouse.

[1] It's a François Truffaut reference, people. What do you mean "that's pretentious"?
