| - I didn't think I'd enjoy myself, but I ended up going twice in the same week.
The atmosphere was fun! I enjoyed some of the rides they have - even though I don't really trust something they put together in a day, and I spent a good amount of my life savings on the games.
Though I came home a failure with no prize to show off, I got the chance to try the colossal onion, the krispie creme donut burger, a lumberjack poutine and the chicken and waffles (Epic burgers). Not something you can eat everyday unless you're praying for diabetes, but this is what the CNE is for!
Lots of vendors to buy things you don't really need from, with many different things to see and do for your children as well. I don't have any children myself, but I took a stroll to the children section to both remind myself why I don't want children and to check out the farm (I love me some pigglets).
i did also get to stop and see the Acrobatic show which was very entertaining. Definitely a must see if you enjoy watching people do what you wish you could without breaking your back. Very talented people.
Speaking of talented, I also got to see the Superdogs show! This show was cute, though mostly for children, but I'll admit to enjoying it since I love dogs. This show did make me want to run home and teach my pooch some cool tricks, but I can't even get mine to fetch so I gave that dream up real quick.
Bottom line - lots of things to see and do - a good day outting (or two...)
