  • Right after high school, pre college, I told myself I always wanted to be one of those cool coffee shop kids with their headphones and textbooks overdosing on caffeine at a coffee shop. They always looked so full of promise. Two years later and serenade has facilitated some of my best (and worst) research papers as well as general college work. The staff is amazing, a lot of the same crew since I started coming and it really helps create that homely/comfortable atmosphere. Always professional and efficient. Speaking of atmosphere, they always play some quality coffee shop bops. Sometimes some Michael Buble typa sound some times some jazzy saxophones and flutes, sometimes some really cool eastern hip hop! The menu: not wildly complex but something for everybody. The serenade teas are a hidden 'lil gem. Probably their call to fame is the honey toast, three different styles and all pretty wild. Love this place, will continue loving this place. Definitely my go-to neighborhood coffee joint.
