When I made my appointment with Dr. Clyde I was told to arrive 15 minutes earlier for my paperwork. I was able to do that on line and pdf it to the office, with their guidance. I did arrive early though and still had a 20 minute wait beyond my app. time, which was fine as their office is comfortable and visually appealing. My exam began with Jake who was proficient and personable, as was Dr. Clyde with the 2nd part of the exam. He has a comfort and sincerity that is reassuring. This was one of the most thorough eye exams in my 60 year plus of wearing glasses, and my posting should show 5 stars. The 'bump' occurred when i didn't find frames I liked and had better success at Visionworks, as well as a 50% discount on sunglasses, which was not covered by my insurance. They had a phone number on file that I have since changed, and called this office yesterday to ask for my recent #. I received a call from this office and was told " they were doing me a favor "by giving me the message to call Visionworks. I was stunned as was the optical person at Visionworks who also faced a bit
of hesitation when calling them even though Dr.Clyde's number was on the RX . What should have been common courtesy rather than attitudinal by the young woman whom we both spoke with, was unfortunate. When I began this review my rating was 3 stars and changed it
not to be too overly sensitive to how things ended up.
My suggestions : more frames with economical pricing that doesn't compromise quality, and
acceptance of freedom of choice beyond the exam. Thank you.
