After much debate with my friends, we ended up here on a Friday night with reservations. The exterior of the restaurant was non-descript but fit the vibe of the place. I loved the inside of the building which made me feel right at home. I was particularly impressed by the waitress and her depth of knowledge on the menu as well as the drinks menu. My friends and I ended up getting the patatas bravas, Marco burger, octupus, and bucatini. Despite the fact that the ingredients are locally sourced, I was not impressed with the execution of the food. The Marco burger was beyond greasy that it was hard to eat and it was a bigger portion size compared to the bucatini. I've had better food at other places in Pittsburgh for a lesser price. Bar Marco was a place for me to experience once to see why everyone has been raving about it. It doesn't hurt to try the place and decide for yourself!
