  • I did some spring cleaning a couple weeks ago and came across some items that I wore only a few times and some things never worn. My friend told me about Clothes Mentor. So this past week end I took my stuff to the CM in Stronsville. While my stuff was being "looked at" to determine if they could buy it, I looked through the stuff that they had for sale. Much to my surprise, they didn't accept one item I had brought it. Even the shirts with tags on and shoes never worn! The snotty nosed girl told me that they stuff was unacceptable because she felt they were over 2 years old, wasn't a designer label or wasn't in style. What? They have labels from Kohl's (Apt 9) and Target (Sonoma) there and they wouldn't accept my Liz Claiborn and Ann Taylor? Also, they had some clothes there for sale that looked like the previous owner lived it in for years before giving it to them. I wouldn't have given some of their stuff to Salvation Army because it was in poor shape. I think you have to be a friend of some one who works there before they will buy your clothing. It's really sad.
