I started at Spark doing their 6 week challenge which, although I had tried crossfit for a few months at another gym before, is a great way to get you familiar with the sport (and I lost 10 pounds during this challenge!). I started going to the regular cf classes after about 2 weeks, but still would visit some of the challenge classes. With a membership you can go to any of the classes, and if you are someone who is intimidated by barbells or heavy lifting they have great class options that are more cardio and hiit (challenge and surge classes). On the other hand, if you are really focused on Olympic weightlifting they have a class twice a week solely focused on that.
This gym definitely has a great community and everyone is welcoming and friendly right off the bat, unlike other cf gyms I've been to. I actually got injured a few weeks ago snowboarding and haven't been cleared to go back, but have still been in touch with everyone at the gym through social media or hanging out, which like I said shows how awesome the people and community is there!
Highly recommend this gym for all levels of fitness!
