  • this joint was recommended to us by a cab driver who took us to Fremont Street. gotta say, he didn't steer us wrong. first we loaded up on some $2 Heinekens & Coronas at the casinos on Fremont (hey man, it's a rough economy), then headed here. they got some great beers on tap - like Rogue Hazelnut, a heavenly nectar - and most in the $5-6 range. awesome dark vibe in here - bricks, candle lights and fireplaces. crowd seemed to be in their 20s and 30s, peppered with hipsters, old people, college students, and other randoms. this is a solid bar in the slowly revitalizing downtown area of Vegas. come here for a change of pace from the insanity of the Strip and load up on some great beers!
