  • Place of violent crime. Unsafe. I stayed here with my family with two little boys. I was attending a business conference at this property. The experience from the very beginning was bad. 1. The bathroom had urine smell. I called the housekeeping to clean it upon check in. 2. The A/C in the bedroom did not work. After 3 visits by the staff in 3 hours while we were in room, they admitted the A/C was not going to work. 3. Even though it is called resort, it is actually a motel setting. The property totally lacks any security. Anybody can walk straight to your door or window and peek through or break in. 4. There was all night swingers party during the whole weekend across the parking lot. Very loud music till the morning. Could not sleep. 5. Sunday early morning (5/17/15), there were gunshots in the parking lot. My SUV was hit, but we were sleeping in the room. Cops and CSI came and removed a the bullet from my vehicle. We did not sleep that night dealing with the situation. Police incident # 15-0254, Police record tel # 702 828 3475 if you want to verify the shooting event. 6. The front desk manager advised to contact the GM to see how she wants to respond to the complaints and loss of customers property. I called GM, Sherry Erickson, numerous (over 20) time, before I could get hold of her. She never returned any phone calls for the messages left. Once I got her on the phone, she asked me to call the HR director, Lonnie Sabitini, to see how the hotel could compensate for the violent crime on the property and all the troubles. She advised to call the GM instead. To date I have left over 10 vm for Sherri and she has not returned the calls. The hotel did not make any effort to address the issues. Conclusion: We had 350 attendees at the conference. They are all aware of the violent crime on this property and none of them will return to this hotel. The organization will not hold any conference at this property as well for safety concern.
