I took my 5 year old here with three other little friends for his 5th birthday on a Monday. Two weeks prior, when I was planning the activities, I had checked the website to ensure that I had the total correct. It was $7.99 BOGO hour which would have ended up around $35 after tax and what I felt was a reasonable price for a weekday and for an age group that probably wouldn't last the full two hours.
Yeahhhh, they upped their prices to $13.99 and because one little girl in our group was still just one week away from turning 5, they charged me extra for her to participate in the same activities the other 3 were able to do for the simple fact that they like bleeding people dry for really ridiculous reasons. I asked if they would consider the lower price since we were seriously DAYS away from her 5th birthday. It was a flat "no". I asked if they would honor their pricing from January since it was pretty obvious I was upset that they raised their prices within two weeks (the website does NOT say that the rates are subject to change). I got a flat "no". I asked to see a manager and it turned out I already was talking to him...this completely unreasonable young guy with obviously very little customer service experience.
So there I am, it's my kiddos 5th Birthday and he's been talking about going to Jump Street for months! I couldn't very well just leave, but I wasn't about to ask the other moms to shell out money for the extra expense since I'd made it clear we were paying for all the kids. So I paid double and sure enough, the kids were pretty worn out after an hour and a half. To give credit where credit is due, the girls who were the attendants on the floor were very nice but that nowhere near comes close to rectifying the rudeness of the manager, the inflexibility of the 5 year old situation or the evident disinterest in retaining my business. I'll never visit this place ever again and I certainly don't mind telling anyone who asks that it's not worth the money.
