We go to this Urgent Care a lot and have always had pleasant encounters with the staff, but last night I learned a few things. Did you know that Phoenix urgent care charges an additional $67 if you come after 5 PM or on holidays and weekends? They will not see you unless you have a zero balance. I took a family member to the PHX urgent care in August and September I paid my deductible as I should and I thought that was the end of my appointment. I arrived yesterday for an appointment and was informed I had an outstanding balance of a little over $100. I had not received a bill. They send their billing to India and then India will send you a bill, starting in alphabetical order. I have never received a bill from Phoenix Urgent care.
Mrs.Terry the Office Manager was very polite and she was even helping to room patients because they were very busy. Mrs.Terry explained everything in detail and I left satisfied. The CSR at the front desk on the other hand was not very helpful because all she understood was checking in, checking out and taking money. The CSR also was very loud and discussing my personal information out loud so that everyone in the waiting room knew my business:-( due to the conversation 3 people were seen ahead of us, when clearly we should had been next. 1 1/2 wait, Boooo. Please if you have any questions, ask for Miss Terry.. Lastly, they are now out of network and I was never advised of that because they changed their name and possibly the owners.
I will not go back only because of the out of network situation and that's why they received 3 stars. The PA was ok, nothing exciting.
