  • Finally got a chance to visit the bakery. Interior has subdued lighting with couches, high back upholstered chairs and regular tables and chairs. Walked up to the display case and was a little disappointed with the limited variety of cakes. Prior to my visit to the bakery, I was under the impression that they had a larger number of cakes to taste. The few cakes they had were not my taste with the exception of a almond cake with raspberry frosting. The cake was very dense and the frosting was very tasty. They had a couple of other items in the case such as brownies. If they will have more of their products on display to experience, I definitely would return. Otherwise, I will pass up any future visits to the Butterwood.
