  • If you like rooftops, and you like sunshine, and it isn't the winter time, you should probably consider going to Molly Malone's. Admittedly, all I did here was drink so I can't speak to the food. But here are some field notes: 1) There are more hipsters than an episode of Portlandia. 2) The daily special and the on-tap selection downstairs is different than the rooftop. 3) If you order a margarita or a pina colada and you decide to get a Coronita in it (yes, that's an option) they come in a hefty mug. If you've ever been to a spot where they serve them in those oversized margarita glasses, you know the impracticalities of that situation. So props for solving a problem I only vaguely remembered I once had.
