I've been with my trainer Aaron for almost a year, and I'll probably be with him for many to come now that he has his own gym. The one on one sessions are the best work out, his specialty is Muay Thai but he also is a really good traditional boxing instructor which is what I started with before realizing that the kickboxing really wipes you out, in the best way that is! They're totally equipped with a brand new ring and every type of bag imaginable. The speed bags can be addicting just a heads up. There's no macho kooks or tough guys, when you walk in everyone is super nice they say hi and ask you about your day. One time I rode my motorcycle in that had a sticky throttle and Aaron, with some tools from his truck, just cam out and fixed it after our session, that doesn't have anything to do with boxing but its an example of how nice the ownership really is. Also prep yourself for a real workout Aaron is no joke when he's holding mitts. Gloves and water are provided, the place is on point! It's also super close to the 101 freeway which makes it super easy to get to. And there's a lunch spot right next door!
