  • I came here hoping for some great soul food; mediocre at best. WRONG! It was terrible. I went with the smothered pork chops because all other options looked...sad. I also got the collards and mac and cheese. The collards were "eh" and the Mac and cheese was "bleh". My boyfriend got the fried chicken and complained that it may have been sitting in water at some point. Amazing service and friendly people but I was not impressed with the meal. The only thing that made the trip worthwhile was the cake. AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! I will be back for the cake...maybe.
