I started lessons about 8-9 months ago with Tom the owner after a friend highly recommended it. I'd been playing for a few years and then plateaued. I still loved playing but was frustrated over my lack of improvement and my brother's continued!!!(grrr) improvement. I'm glad I started lessons. He broke down the deficiencies in my swing and systematically rebuilt it - although it's a ongoing process :) Tom has an uncanny knack for making swing changes easy to understand and apply. Add to that the ability to instantly review your swing and look at degrees of shoulder and hip tilt, turn and sway for immediate feedback (and you can login remotely to the golftec site to review your lessons with video at any time). I really think it's an ideal method to guarantee improvement. Tom is in an elite group in terms of his resume, 1 of only 8 PGA certified (the real certification, not "certified", AKA a PGA member who teaches) instructors in Arizona. I was apprehensive to start lessons initially because I thought - these guys are probably scratch golfers and will secretly joke about my Charles Barkley-esque swing. But Tom is as gracious and patient as they come. It's clear that he enjoys People and what he does!
