I had been going to this dentist for several years. My insurance covers all cleanings. I go in for a cleaning and then get a bill. I couldn't figure out the problem. Turns out they dropped my insurance company five months earlier and didn't bother to tell me (even though they asked if I was with the same insurance). That is unethical to not let your patient know that the services you are providing (that used to be covered in full) are no longer covered. I cannot trust any professional who is not upfront with you about costs.
