Went in today after being told by the online chat for AT&T that I had to take my Apple Watch Series 3 into the store to return it, decided to do this after receiving a almost $400 bill after purchasing it.
Went into the store to be told by RJ that they could not accept the return. That I had to ship it back today and if I did not get it shipped back today, I was stuck with it. Even after showing him the transcript from the chat I had with the online representative saying I had 8 days, he told me that there was nothing he could do and he wasn't going to be able to help me. He said that the online chat did not matter, and that now because I had come into the store, what they said was final and anything else didn't matter. RJ was completely useless and wasn't willing to do anything and didn't care about a thing I told him.
I didn't think the customer service with AT&T could get any worse but RJ certainly proved me wrong. After almost 12 months of nothing but bad experiences with the phone representatives and online chats, I thought for sure I would get better service in the store, but clearly I was wrong. RJ by far surpassed any of the representatives I have ever dealt with to date. If you already have service you might as well not bother going in to a store, especially this one.
