The baked treats are 5-star but the service is maybe a 3.5. I went in this morning for the first time for a few cookies, coffee, and a croissant. For whatever reason, when I approached the counter, the young woman only stared at me. She didn't offer a "Hello" or a "Good morning, how can I help you?", only a blank stare. I jumped into placing my order and waited for her to engage me in some sort of human interaction but nope. All she asked was if I wanted my receipt. She also didn't tell me where to get my coffee; I had to overhear the someone else receive instructions to walk around to the other side of the counter so I knew to do the same.
This isn't a kind way to treat folks, especially first time visitors. Customer service can always be improved though so I'll give Blackbird the benefit of the doubt this go round.
