Frick Park is one of the best parks in the city. It's huge! Seriously, you can get lost in there. It's great for walking dog (there's a dog park), running, and cycling. Many trails to venture. There are events that occur throughout the year like Shakespeare plays in the summer and an alphabet event for children. The hills are great for sledding from what I've seen and the playground/baseball field are popular.
Street parking is a available, just be sure not to block anyone's driveway if you're in front of someone's home. Don't be that person. In addition, during the warmer months, a police officer watches the Beechwood Blvd entrance to make sure cars come to a complete stop. There's hgh pedestrian traffic around these parts and bike lanes on Beechwood Blvd.
