  • This Verizon location has proven to fail in customer service 3 out of 3 times now over the past few months. Before i get into that let me first start by saying I have been a Verizon wireless customer for over 15 years now. Overall, the service coverage has been good and the experience has always been reasonably pleasant. This negative review all started when I first stepped foot in this location after researching my options for a portable wifi device to use with my laptop for my business. I had money in hand and was intending on purchasing one of these devices from Verizon when I initially stepped foot into the store. Upon opening the glass doors i saw a crowded mess of people everywhere. I waited for some kind of direction of where to go to sign in or who to check with ...but nothing happened. I figured maybe they were just busy so i waited and waited...and waited. Finally after 15 or so minutes of waiting around to be noticed i approached the main desk. The agents were assisting other customers so i politely interrupted when there was a break in conversation to ask where to sign in. He kept typing looking down and said "somebody will be with you as soon as they can" never once looking up. So i went back to my standing position (all the bench seats were taken) by the doors and proceeded to wait another 35 minutes. In right under an hours time nobody came to see what i needed or asked to place me on a list or anything at all for that matter. I felt completely ignored. Granted it was 5:30 in the afternoon and they were busy- but to have no contact in nearly an hour...needless to say i walked out with my money and no wifi device. This was my first experience in the store. My second mirrored the first experience, however, there was only a handful of people in the store this time. It was a month later and I was thinking about upgrading my iphone. I gave the store another shot. This time a gentleman from the desk area did greet me and said somebody would be right with me. I waited for 20 minutes and had nobody came. I left again. No upgrade. My 3rd and my last experience there happened yesterday evening. I stopped in there before meeting my family for dinner. I might add the only reason i tried again was due to the convenience that the store is right near my house and i pass it coming home from work. I walked in and saw a small handful of customers and thought i might actually have a shot! I was wrong again. I walked in and again stood at the door looking for someone to sign in with. Nope nobody to greet you. After standing there for like 3 minutes or so another customer walked in the door and a lady from behind the desk came over and greeted her politely and added her to a list on the ipad she was carrying, then she walked over behind the desk again. After seeing this happen i walked over to her at the desk and she suddenly saw me and cheerfully greeted me. I asked to see someone about upgrading my iphone. She politely said that shouldnt be a problem and informed me that there were 3 customers in line in front of me, and offered to have me browse around while i waited. I did look and noticed she was wearing a "manager" title on her nametag. Figured i was good to go. So i waited, and waited, and waited. 30 minutes went by and nobody called my name or came to assist with my upgrade. In fact, at one point there appeared to be more verizon agents in the store than customers. I particularly watched an agent going around and cleaning the displays with a cloth and cleaner. My final straw was when the same female manager that checked me in started a conversation with another agent on the floor about office work he was supposed to do etc which was followed by a conversation between the two of them. I walked out at that point and jumped in my camaro to leave and low and behold the manager walked out with her purse and was clocking out for the day i suppose. She didnt even realize i walked out...and there was only maybe 5 or 6 customers in the store. In fact not 1 of them on the verizon staff noticed or cared. I will never go back to this location again. They lost multiple business purchases i intended on making with them as well as my respect. I truly hope Corporate reads these reviews and does something. Being too busy is not an excuse especially if you are clearly not understaffed. I am considering switching my service at this point. Dont waste your time.
