  • I would not recommend buying on groupon. Or not at all because I'm not sure why what happened happened. We arrived about ten minutes late and were told we'd have to be split up. We were two adults and two children. There were four seats together in the front row on one side. I asked if we could sit there together and was told no, they are already sold (there were no assigned seats by the way. As she finished saying that I saw the other usher seating my mom and other daughter there! I just got up and moved closer to them at least to be on the same side of the theatre in case one adult had to go potty (like me! I'd held it all day!). The usher chased me down and made us get up. I just got up and sat in the front with the rest of my family and the view was totally obstructed. My kids could barely see anything. So I got up to use the ladies room and noticed there were MANY empty seats! And this is more than half way through the show! Why did they give us such shitty seats then? I'm guessing bc they were discounted groupon seats? We saw the Nathan burton magic show. I'd give this two stars. The magic was OK but I would not consider this a family show or appropriate for children AT ALL. I am not a prude by any stretch and I openly talk about body parts etc with my girls. The show was for 4pm and there were many children in the audience. He kept referring to his showgirls in a lecherous way, making crude, sexual and objectifying jokes about his "girls." They were dressed like strippers with thongs and fishnets at one point with big fake boobs and dancing like there was just a pole missing. I just didn't like my daughters watching women being objectified like that. He had invited a child on stage and made a comment to the child about his father liking his showgirls. I just didn't think it was appropriate or funny. When he asked for child volunteers he asked one boy how old he was. When he answered "eight" Burton said he has to be "nine" and asked him his age again two to three times with the expectation that the boy would lie and change his answer to "nine." That kid kept answering truthfully, saying he was eight years old and Burton then moved along to another boy who said he's nine. My kids live in a farm town suburb and the showgirl stuff and rewarding lying are shocks to them, as well they should be. For people accustomed to Vegas it may be normal but personally I'd like my 4 and 7 year old girls to keep their innocence for a little longer. The show is fine for adults but in my opinion it is not kid friendly.
