  • As soon as we arrived to the hotel, we automatically knew that it was too good to be true. First, renovations and construction were going on which we were not aware of. We saw that the lobby was being worked on but we didn't think that check-in would take place in a hotel room... Everything was squeezed into the room and we could see how unorganized it was behind the counter. The property is very outdated and we couldn't find any working elevators except one which was so far from our room and we had to walk across the entire property from the elevator. On the plus side, the rooms were really nice. I don't know if those are the newly renovated rooms or not but the bathroom was very appealing to the eye Also, the bedroom was really nice with the exception of the actual bed which leads me to another complaint. The bedsheets smells like straight up bleach! It was so strong and noticeable. The pillows were very flat and not comfy at all. After resting my head on BOTH pillows stacked on top of each other, my head sank down to the bed.. I'm pretty sure pillows aren't supposed to do that.. The day we checked out, we expected construction as stated on the paper left for us in the hotel room. At first, it wasn't too bad but around 10:30, it sounded as if the building was about to collapse. The drilling was so loud and excessive that it scared both me and my boyfriend! The sound remained as long as we were in the room and thank god that we were checking out soon! The sound was completely ridiculous and unbearable.. It almost felt like the drill was going to go through the walls!! Parking was a bust and it seemed like there wasn't enough parking spaces for how many guests there were and we ended up parking really far from the actual rooms. Overall, I'm upset with the hotel. I wish they would've told us that the king suites would be literally right next to construction or at least made accommodations so that guests weren't in the hard hat area. Also, almost all the outlets in the room didn't work (at least the ones on the walls) Definitely keeping note not to rent a room when I come back in April!
