| - We were referred here by my father's primary care physician, and I will never come back here again. Since our first visit with this office, we waited anywhere from 2-5 hours to see the doctor for all of 5 minutes. This also includes any visits for chemo or radiation. They seem unorganized and lacked care for their patients. I come from many years in the medical field and have never been treated like we are a bother to them from anyone like this. Anytime I knew our doctors were running late, I called every patient to let them know. This NEVER happened here. My father found out he had less than 6 months to live and was in stage 4 cancer through a disability letter given to us right before Christmas. Not from his doctor, from a letter. I cannot begin to tell you how wrong that is. We constantly had medications change without us knowing. The last visit we had with them, nothing was explained to him about how his treatments were not taking to his condition. I was the one that had to read the doctors mind and tell him he was going into kidney failure and his treatments were not working. Amongst many other issues. This is a cancer facility! The MOST important thing should be how your patients are being treated. Not every employee there is like this, but it was obvious they are over worked and under paid. This facility handles TOO many patients, and they are the ones who pay the price. Unfortunately, my father passed due to his cancer in February. Not a phone call or a letter to send their apologies. I am not angry or blaming this office for my dad's passing. We knew with the type of cancer he had, he would not be able to beat it. I am angry because the best care he received was from hospice, not from the cancer center we had been going to for 6 months. I am appalled with how bad our healthcare system has become, especially out here. I truly feel if they weren't so busy, their patients would have the care they deserve.
