| - I came here to get a pedicure and manicure after getting lost and unable to find the nail salon I wanted to go to. I got the regular pedicure $25 w/ gel and before starting the manicure I asked about the pricing and was told it was going to be $38. She even did the math out loud $25 plus $13 (Vietnamese accent), $38. They had advertised the glitter gel manicure is $13 with a pedicure on their banner outside, so I said ok and had her start on the manicure. My nail as you can see in the photos I uploaded were cut extremely short where the tips of my fingers are hanging out unprotected by my nail. My finger tips are now sensitive and painful to do my daily work activities such as typing and just using my hands for things in general. This causes trauma to the nail bed and over time it recedes! After she cut my nails she filed them down and pushing on my sensitive finger tips, causing me more discomfort. Once my nails were done and I went to pay, she told me my pedicure and manicure were $68!! $30 more than what I was quoted for before starting on my manicure. Unhappy and asked her to repeat herself and explain why she had told me $38 earlier. She said $25 for pedicure, $30 for gel, $13 for manicure. One of the guys that spoke better English explained it to me again and still confused, exhausted from work, I just ended up paying for it and not paying any extra for gratuity. I feel bad, but I am not going to provide gratuity if I was told one price and asked to pay another. She probably already knew this because I handed her my card and she didn't ask me how much I'd like to put for gratuity, when I signed the receipt said $0.00 for tip. Beware of this salon. I thought I found a decent nail salon, but that ended up not happening. The pedicure was good though.
