| - THIN WALLS!!!
Say it with me...THIN WALLS!!! I really wanted to like The Monte Carlo. Awesome customer service, friendly housekeeping, charming gold fixtures and old furnitures, but we just couldn't get over how thin the walls were.
1st NIGHT was horrible. Woke up at 3am from the sound of shattered glass and people laughing and screaming out loud. I ain't mad at them. It is VEGAS. 2nd and 3rd NIGHT were just as bad. Right when we were about to sleep at 1am, we heard a baby crying very loud on and off and things being moved around for a good hour. Poor baby was probably sick. In the morning, we heard the shower being turned on every time and people walking and talking outside our room. We've stayed at several hotels on the strip (Trump, MGM, Mandalay Bay, Signature) and we never had this kind of problem.
However, we did appreciate the cleanliness of our room and bathroom. Our bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean, no stains on our towels and had the basic things you need in a bathroom.
For the price, I guess it's okay. We got regular room with a King Bed for $120 a night through Vegas.com. It came with complimentary Buffet for 2 and drinks and Ignite Lounge, which was awesome. But I don't recommend this hotel if you want to get a good sleep.
