  • First time here today. We were thrilled to find such a tranquil spot within Mecklenburg County. Good views of Lake Wylie, which seems quieter and somewhat less rednecky this time of year (although there are signs indicating that the park is closed for hunting tomorrow, so this might just be the calm before the storm here). A number of trails that are appropriately challenging for little kids to feel like they are having an adventure, but not too long or difficult for them. Definitely recommend for a quiet Sunday.
