| - I recently purchased a 55in Samsung curve, which after a week started to have a white line across the picture. I went in on Dec 21 to purchase a television. The salesman "sold" me the benefits to this tv, so i decided to purchase it. Only to be told, not in stock, but they can order it, ( 5-7) days, But the 65 inch was (for 2000) more, I can have now. At that time, a 55 inch was being put on shelf as a return, so now there was one. I thought great I will take it, and offered 10% off. Awesome. Not so. Broken week later and would not exchange, unless I wanted to pay another 750.00 for same tv. Sales Manager (Eric) told us, it is company policy not to exchange open box items for another one. But I now looked at return policy any it says nothing of the sort. He then said I can call Samsung for repair, well they already said it had to be returned because it was within 30 days. So basically I am stuck with a broken tv or pay price difference for same tv. Absolutely crazy. I have been a loyal consumer of HHgregg for many years, but I think its time to look elsewhere. I have spent upwards of 10k with them in the last 6 years.
