I'm a huge dessert and sweet lover, but I'm embarrassed to share I haven't had frozen custard before..until now! Well that won't be the case anymore. Frozen custard is delicious. After some research, it is creamier than ice cream due to using the yolk in the egg (whereas ice cream only uses the whites) and a higher percentage of butterfat.
I prefer creamier ice creams so this may become my go to. Like a Dairy Queen Blizzard, you can get a "whizzard" with add in's mixed in to the custard. The generic custard flavors are vanilla and chocolate, and they have a weekly flavor of the week (this time it was mint chocolate chip). You can get it in cones or cups, with toppings mixed in or on top. We will be back soon!
