| - After looking all over, she found the dress that she liked at Azteca....but with rude customer service and horrible conditions we decided not to buy the dress at Azteca. I spent days calling around, David's Bridal, although a wonderful place and great customer service, doesn't carry the dress we were looking for. Other shops answered their phone in a very unprofessional manner that I wouldn't give them our business. I was to the point that we might have to go out of state to get the dress and service we were looking for. Finally I called Lillian Lotties and they answered their phone on the first ring, professionally and were so sweet. When someone calls and you just answer the phone "hello" and not give a name that's a big turn off for me. But Lillian Lotties staff answered with "Hello, Lillian Lotties, This is Hannah, how may I help you?" and that was the best sound. After speaking for a while, she even said that they would ad match any dress and looked up the one we were looking for and said they had it, and would match Azteca's price.
We went today for my daughters appointment. After changing the appointment twice because our schedules change (sometimes life gets in the way of your plans), which they did with a smile and understanding, we were greeted and asked if we would like anything to drink. Hannah wasn't available, but Elise took us under her wing. She knew what dress we were looking for and had it all ready for us. She then asked us what our price range was and we told her. She took my daughter around to look at some of the other dresses that they have. My daughter picked out a few more that she wanted to try on.
Elise was very nice and helped Megan with her dresses. The first one that she tried on was the one we had been looking for. Then she tried on another one with more lace than what she likes. The third dress she tried on, was the one....even though she had been set on the first dress, she had tears in her eyes, I was crying and I told her that "This dress is what I have always pictured you in on your wedding day".
We had tons of questions about this and that. Elise even went and got the seamstress that will be doing the alterations, so that we could talk with her about what we wanted and how much it might cost us. And to our surprise the dress and the alterations are going to cost less than the first dress. So we have a dress and a contract. And my daughter is over the moon!
We never felt rushed, matter of fact we felt very comfortable from the start. Elise was ours, the whole time we were there. We didn't have to share her with anyone and my daughter was the center of her attention, which is what I wanted for her. We talked like old friends and got to know each other, which is a big deal when dealing with a Bride and her family (at least in our book it is).
We will write another review once we pick up the dress before the wedding and then we will write another one with the reactions of the Groom, her father and the guest at the wedding. We will even post pictures.
THANK YOU ELISE FOR HELPING US TODAY! THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY LITTLE GIRL FEEL SPECIAL! AND THANK YOU LILLIAN LOTTIE FOR HAVING THE RIGHT DRESS TO SAY YES TO!
