After driving place after place last night trying to find something good we decided on Duckworths. We get there walk in the manager is on the phone having a personal phone call. I asked should we seat ourselves or what because it had been about 3 minutes or so and she had not so much as acknowledged us. Then she pulls the phone away from her head and asks one of the servers to please seat us. He asks us where we preferred to sit and we ended up picking the dark booth. He explained the options and specials and tells us about the specials. Not sure what his name was but he was super nice. Looking at the menus we see that alot has changed here. I didn't know this until reading some other reviews but they relaunched recently and changed a lot of stuff. Our server came and told us that yes they are testing new concepts for the chain. I ended up getting a burger with sweet potato fries and it was pretty good except I received the burger well instead of medium like I requested since they asked. My friend's got a order of sweet potato fries. The honey mustard was not that great it had to much zest we asked about that and were told they use a Dijon in it which is why it was that way. Me on the other hand got ranch with my fries and it was pretty good. While we were eating the manager walked by our table and again couldn't be bothered to acknowledge anyone. It's bad customer service when you act like that. If it was me I'd definitely be checking in with guests to make sure they are having a good experience. I don't know if I'm really wanting to give them another go because I felt like I got ripped off honestly. Almost $30 bucks for a burger, fries and draft on special. What was sad is they pretty much have the same amount of fries in the side that they gave on the appetizer. I'm a fan of the metal plates though. I think I liked the old Duckworths better. Please check your female manager she was pretty rude during the whole visit.
