  • After waiting over an hour with our 15 month old to see a doctor at Summerlin ER we get in to see the doctor. We were giving a history, he listened to my son's lungs then he had to leave to answer a phone call. Half an later he still hadn't come back. When my husband asked what was going on, the nurse said the Dr would be in soon, he was dictating. At this point my son was having a meltdown because he was not only sick but tired and hungry at this point. Another half hour later the Dr still hadn't come back. So we left. He never finished getting a history or a physical exam and my baby got no treatment. On the way out we saw the doctor, he was still dictating. We will take our baby to a different ER if he gets worse or the doctor on Monday. Hopefully we all won't have conjunctivitis and he won't have ear infections by then. Horrible. We will call the insurance company to make sure the bill doesn't get paid. The doctor was condescending and talked to my husband and I like we were morons, we have more then 35 years combined as paramedics, so we aren't morons when it comes to medicine.
