Barnes and Noble Booksellers is a chain found most everywhere. This is one of the few places where I find online ordering can be cheaper than if you purchase in the store.
They offer free Wi Fi. There is a small cafe where you can purchase drinks and treats. One of the best things they offer is that you can take a book you see anywhere in the store, sit down and read some of it, and then decide if you wish to purchase it.
In the center section is your help desk where if they can help you find what you are looking for and whether or not the item is in stock. If it is not in stock then they can order it for you and have it sent to your home free of charge.
For avid readers a person can buy a "nook' where you can download a book onto a device for a lot cheaper than it would to purchase the book itself. They also sell videos, CDs, and calendars to plan the year ahead. There is also an children's area
They have a membership club which for a $25.00 yearly fee will grant you 10% off your purchase and will e-mail you discount coupons from time to time. On this particular visit I was searching for a specific book and wanted to know I had the right copy. I went to the help desk, the man helped me find it, and it was exactly what I wanted.
It is a nice place to browse or unwind from a busy day.
