| - Upon reading the reviews on Google and Yelp, I was quite skeptical about this property. However, after coming to see the apartments myself, I was really surprised.
The unit was well renovated with new appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, flat cooktop oven), new stainless steel sink, upgraded dark wood cabinets, grey wood flooring, low shag carpet in the bedroom, and a really nice ceramic, above-counter bathroom sink. The walls are light grey with a white border lining and the windows have white wooden blinds.
When I moved in I had minor problems such as a small leak near the toilet and the washer/dryer bring too big for the closet door to close but these were all quickly remedied. Before moving in, I had read about scorpions so I bought my own preventive bug spray. The only place where I saw scorpions was on the patio so i sprayed there. A couple of weeks after that initial spray, I haven't seen any since. Thankfully, never once have I seen bugs in the unit.
The property recently underwent new management and they're renovating almost every unit and the front office. For the location, these apartments are actually the nicest that I've seen, compared to others in the area. The rent is higher than most in the area but for all its amenities and renovations, it's worth it.
I had went to several other properties and out of all of them, no one was as nice, professional, and accommodating as Tammy. She is a big reason why I chose this place over many other properties. She was very courteous and helpful, she didn't seem very pushy or overeager to have me sign the lease. I'm very grateful to Tammy for all her help. I'm very glad I chose Fifty 101 at the last minute, I know I made the right choice.
