| - Very poor customer service. The salesman was sitting by the door eating a sandwich and talking to a friend. I guess my entry into the store was a major inconvenience for him. I wanted parts for my vacuum cleaner and my sewing machine. He acted like it was a huge pain to look up the parts for the vacuum and he couldn't tell me anything about the sewing machine part, so he called their repair guy on the phone and handed me the phone. The repairman just told me to bring in the machine, how much it would cost and how long it would take. I told him I hadn't intended to bring the machine in, only to get the part and me or my husband would replace it. When I told him I needed a new threader, he began to argue with me that I probably didn't really need it, because some people mistakenly think that part is broken when it's only bent. After much hassle, I left with only one of the parts I needed. Unless you're really into being insulted and treated rudely, go somewhere else. Cynthia's Sewing Center about 3 miles further East on Craig is much more responsive. They act like they want to help you. Actual customer service, what a concept! When I told a friend about my experience at A-All, she said, "Oh, no, don't go there!." They treated her rudely too when she went there looking for sewing machine parts.
