We had a coupon from the local mailer and decided to stop by for a bite.
First off, pretty good atmosphere, the place was hopping and we had to wait a few minutes to get an open table. Exactly how I like my restaurants.
They had a small selection of beers but had our favorites, including a Guiness for me and Woodchuck Cider for my wife. On happy hour, both were 3 bucks for a pint. Not bad at all.
I had the fish and chips special, which was a couple small hushpuppies, two large pieces of beer battered cod, and fries. Fish was cooked perfectly and was very tasty.
My wife had the buffalo chicken sandwich and onion rings. The rings were a bit greasy, but the sandwich was excellent. On top of their pretzel "bun" was two huge chicken breast dredged in the perfect buffalo sauce. Almost enough food for two people to share.
Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back with friends to dine.
