As sushi places go, this place is ok. Not fantastic, but definitely better than some places I've been to. However, since their prices are comparable to other better sushi restaurants that are nearby, I would have expected a better experience if I were going to give a higher review.
The sushi recipes were similar to most of the rolls I've had elsewhere. Nothing I had stuck out as particularly good. What did stand out were the mistakes the waiting staff and sushi chef made, the wait after asking for the check (which was not split as had been requested at the very beginning), and the tin foil I found in my baked sushi.
The reasons I am not giving a lower review after these errors are because the food was still decent, the staff were all pleasant, and one of the chefs overheard me talking to the waiter and saying I'm allergic to onions and did not put onions in a roll I requested even though I forgot to request no onions in it (I guess this proaction would have been a bad thing if I'd been ordering for someone else in my group)
I'm not making plans to return here, but if someone else loves it here and offers to treat, I won't refuse to eat here again
