  • We had a bad experience going to Rad for an engagement ring and would not recommend them for custom work. A friend recommended them to us, and they were nice to deal with at first, but after we put in the order things went south. They made a mistake in the design phase and, when we pointed it out to them, they became aggressive and gave us a hard time even though their model was different from what we agreed on. They apologized afterwards and we tried to continue working with them because we didn't want to lose our deposit, but we were disappointed with their lack of professionalism and attention to detail. We've been to other places to have things designed and had no problems. If you go to Rad, make sure you triple check everything, including workmanship, hidden fees, design and timing, and get it in writing. If you just want to buy something off the shelf right away they might be fine.
