  • Dear Living Well: So this is why people come and go here.. I live in the Escondido Apts in Phoenix. I am NOT "living well". It has been over 105 degrees for weeks now and we do not have a functioning POOL here at 4422 N. 36th St. If you lived here you would understand what a HUGH inconvenience the last 4 weekends have been. But alas, the owner. is in Canada thinking perhaps we are spoil brats having such warm temperatures. I have lived in Toronto, and Denver, and do KNOW what cold weather is like. Although we cannot change the weather of these regions, WE CAN make life more bearable during one's most difficult season. Perhaps, you do not recognize OUR NEED FOR A POOL as you are freezing your tusses off, but WE NEED and PAY For a pool as part of our amenities included in our rent. What peeves me most is your on-site manager's laisse faire approach to communication about this (the pool) and the broke most times (laundry room). Quote, "I don't use that room, so how am I supposed to know if the machines don't work?). Well, "manager", you walk the property every day to check them! You ask your maintenance person to check them. YOU MANAGE and YOU COMMUNICATE. I would like you to realize "Living Well" that your product needs to be re-furbished in the following ways: Provide proper lighting at night on the grounds and in the parking areas. (I requested this upon move-in 3 months ago..........NOTHING, no response to this request) Provide a working laundry room. Provide a working POOL. Provide timely communication with residents and don't lie, "oh, the pool will be ready by the weekend". Do something to MAKE UP FOR THIS INDISCRETION monetarily to the tenants as they have lost faith in this property as a "community". Many will not renew leases. All we want is to "live well" in our apt.homes. Wouldn't you want this too? ANDEE S. of Marketing: You are just FULL OF IT! But your job is to B.S. people, right. There is no SHINE on this penny, your property is AWFUL and DURING THE FLOOD or SEPT. 8th, 7 apartments, including mine, WERE FLOODED OUT!!!!!!!!! We all HAD to move!!! DID YOUR COMPANY HELP, hell no! The RED CROSS did. Thank GOD for some decent organizations!
