  • This review contains TWO reviews Sedona Mountain Biking Tour. ------------------------------------------ We did the half day mountain bike tour with Nathan and it was AMAZING. He kept us going at a pace that was good for us (not to fast or too slow) and was consistently monitoring to make sure that we were not struggling. This was our first time mountain biking (and definitely not our last). We stopped several times for rest breaks and even climbed up one of the rock formations for amazing views. Nathan is a wealth of knowledge about mountain biking as well as the region. He is an amazing tour guide and I would HIGHLY recommend a mountain bike tour with him. The day started out with us getting sized for bicycles where Nathan and the rest of the Absolute Bike Team helped us make sure our bikes and helmets were perfect for us and then off we went. Four hours went by so fast. Sedona Road Bike Cruise Around Sedona --------------------------------------------------------- After a half day of mountain biking we had lunch and did a half day of Road Biking around Sedona. The same bike store fitted us with road bikes when we got back from the mountain biking and then we went to lunch. We met our tour guide, Heather , at the tour starting point and she had the bikes with her. We started the tour and she was very attentive to the fact that we just did four hours of mountain biking and were relatively new to road biking. She modified the tour on the fly so we did not have endless uphill rides only to be followed by extreme downhill coasts. It is really hard to not see beautiful rock formations where ever you go but she knew the best spots for seeing these items while always keeping in mind our abilities to keep up. Both of these tours were amazing way to see the rock formations, have some fun, have a little adventure and get some exercise - all in one. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOTH OF THEM On a side note - I would highly recommend bringing (or purchasing at the bike store) a set up biking gloves if you do not have them. This is top notch and if I could give it more stars I would. i am definitely coming back to Sedona and looking forward to biking with Nathan and Heather again.
