  • My family has unredeemed gift certificates valued at $500 that we are stuck with because Athena Salon and Day Spa went out of business. It was unprofessional of the business to sell certificates at Christmastime with expiration dates a year later when the owner had to have known they were in financial trouble. I'm disapponted that the owner posted in March 2016 that she was willing to give refunds, but then did not do so. It's AMAZING that you can find just about anything on-line. My next step is to send letters to the previous owner and the Board of Cosmotology. It's very curious that the previous owner lives in a 6 bath, 5 bedroom home with 4,664 square feet of living space. Even though she lost home value from the date of purchase in 2013, her home is still valued at $585,510!
