| - I wanted to wait until after my first fill before giving a review. I found a good deal online for the initial application and a touch-up and booked via text. I wasn't too sure what to expect, as I'm typically not the high maintenance kind of girl. But I figured, worse came to worse, after the fill I would just let them fall off and I could say I had experienced having long lashes for a month or so.
I get there for my initial appointment, and got in right away, no wait. We discussed what I wanted (which to be honest, I wasn't entirely sure of) and the length, and then she had me lie down and she got to work. She was very gentle and nothing was irritating in the slightest, as I feared it would be. In fact, I was able to fall asleep during the appointment. A much needed nap after only getting about three hours of sleep the night prior.
When she was done, my lashes were long and blended beautifully. You couldn't even see my naturally blonde lashes peaking through. I wasn't exactly sure if I was in love with them though. They had length, which was great, but it was all one length around the entire eye and looked a bit too "doll like" for my tastes. At this point, I was pretty sure after my fill that was included with my deal, I wouldn't continue with the lashes.
Two weeks later, and it was time for my fill. Unfortunately, as hard as I try, I'm a side sleeper so my left side didn't fare as well as my right side did. My right was still pretty nice looking, the left looked like a middle-aged balding man. When I got in, again no wait and we discussed how I liked the look. I expressed that I had realized I wanted a more cat-eye appearance with the lashes, and asked if we could go a size down on the length. She asked if I wanted to go even a little shorter on the inner corner (which I had no idea was an option - see? Total newbie.) to which I enthusiastically said yes.
Once again, I fell asleep, and an hour later I woke up to my lashes looking absolutely amazing. I was in love! They were long, but not too long. They were full, they were natural, they were gorgeous. Seriously, I am so in love with them. They compliment my eye shape perfectly and I don't even have to wear eye makeup if I don't want to, because they look so great. I really had been on the fence if I wanted to start spending a fair bit of money every two weeks to maintain this, but now it's like I have no choice. I can't not have these beautiful lashes all the time. I'm definitely recommending to all friends who love my lashes (and I've been getting crazy amounts of compliments since day one).
