| - For anyone that's on the fence about going to a "Big Box" bridal store - just remember that every franchise is different. Some DB locations could be lousy, but some, such as the Robinson location, can be fantastic.
I first stopped in here because I'm on a wedding budget and wanted to see if I liked anything in a lower price range. And I ended up buying my dress! My consultant was Crystal and she was absolutely amazing. She listened to my opinions and didn't make me feel rushed into a decision. A huge perk with DB is that they let you take photos of yourself in the dresses. Most boutiques don't let you do that, but I was able to get my mom's opinion on my gown, even though she was out of state. That was truly special. :)
I just picked up my dress about a week ago. The only flaw in the ordered gown is that the belt is a little crooked, but I plan on having that removed anyways, so I didn't mind. And for the price I paid, I didn't expect perfection.
The only reason why I gave this location 4 stars instead of 5 is, like other reviews mentioned, their sales pitches. If you're not someone who gets flustered at turning down offers, this won't be an issue. But I could see if I were an unsure person that I could be pushed into buying more things. I know the employees work off commission, so they need to sell whatever they can, It was just the sheer volume of "offers" (photography? wedding planning? bridesmaids? accessories? shoes?). To their credit, I was never pushed after I turned down a pitch.
All in all, this particular DB provided a lovely experience. If you're someone who doesn't want to (or can't) spend over a thousand+ dollars on a dress you'll wear for one day, but still want to look beautiful, this is a great place to go.
